The Berkeley Water Ski Club (BWSC) is a water sports organization promoting community events for waterskiing, wakeboarding, trick skiing and ski jumping. The Club was founded originally over a cup of coffee in 1958 and was then known as the Richmond Water Ski Club. The Club now has a reputation of being one of the most active water ski clubs on the Pacific Coast, if not the country. We have two regulation slalom courses located in Berkeley and on the Delta. Our aim is to promote water skiing and related water sports to anyone interested, to develop good tournament skiers, to promote safety first at all times and to create a friendly environment for current and prospective members to enjoy our facilities and sponsored events. The social aspects of BWSC include social sport activities, ski and
wakeboard competitions, fund-raising programs, Learn to Ski week for
disadvantage youth, Junior Development week,
family delta beach facilities, an annual dinner-dance and other water sports
activities. BWSC 50th Anniversary Tee Shirts Available - Long sleeve Tee Shirts available for $18.00, crew sweatshirts for $21.00, and and hooded sweat shirts for $28.00.
